Updating the Database for an Upgrade

If you are upgrading from ConstructSim Planner SELECTseries to ConstructSim Planner CONNECT Edition Update 1 or later, you need to update the database packages in the following order.

Select the datasource. A dialog opens to inform you that the database used by this datasource needs to be updated.
Click Yes. The datasource expands in the Explorer pane with the Database Scripts item already selected. In the content pane, the Core database package is already selected
Deselect the Core database package by clicking the checkbox next to it.
Select the Construction database package by clicking the checkbox next to it.
In the content pane, in the Update Status section, click the link, Click to Start the Database Update.
When the Core database update is complete, click OK.
In the content pane, deselect the Construction database package by clicking the checkbox next to it.
Select the Core database package by clicking the checkbox next to it.
In the content pane, in the Update Status section, click the link, Click to Start the Database Update.
When the Construction database update is complete, click OK.

The database update for the Core and Construction database packages is complete.
